Project story
Our relationship with Fields College began with a small storeroom and has developed over five years into a series of considered interventions across the school campus.
Projects have included outdoor classrooms, a book and clothing store, preschool facilities, sports storage and the redevelopment of the school’s boundary walls. Rather than treating each addition in isolation, the work has gradually established a consistent architectural language for the school.
A recurring brick pattern moves through the different interventions, representing the continuous flow of education across the campus. Custom elements, including a built-in drinking fountain finished in a mosaic of the school colours, reinforce this identity.
The architecture is deliberately modest: small interventions, carefully resolved, contributing to a larger vision for the school.
