Project story

Anchor Point is a large industrial and logistics development in Cato Ridge, incorporating warehousing and a major data centre as part of an inland logistics network supporting the Port of Durban.

The architecture draws subtly from this relationship with the port and the movement of goods between land and sea. Predominantly dark warehouse volumes are punctuated by greens and blues, while changes in the direction of the façade sheeting create shifting geometric patterns across the elevations.

These angled lines abstract the movement and geometry of waves without becoming a literal maritime reference.

The result is an industrial development with a clear identity — using relatively simple materials and construction systems to bring architectural character to a building type normally driven almost entirely by function.

Let’s create something

remarkable.
